We are concious of the
social reality of Cuba, where a totalitarian regime turning the
back on his people has submerged the country in a generalized poverty
where the most affected sectors are the elderly and children, youth
futureless and hopeless graduates, no jobs and the existing ones
are a shame for the wages. This, among other things has provoked
high levels of suicide in the young people seeking freedom and rights
that have been violated, commiting acts of desperation like embarking
in adventures at sea in high risk vessels. These acts reflect the
levels of desperation they feel. Social assistance is almost non
existant in a country where the economy has found to be static and
degrading for decades now, with lowest salaries in history with
lack of homes and jobs.
All these factors bring
along a degrading of moral values in society, creating a gap to
bloom human miseries due to the poverty in which the country has
been submerged, such as prostitution and theft as a means to survive
(even ways used by oportunisttic people that support the government),
corruption to all levels of power, lack of patriotism and the loss
of citicenship and interest in politics. All this in a society that
has been kept marginal to the most essential human rights, where
a housewife can not decide what to cook for dinner, lissten to music
or see television while their kids are kept away from that fenomenon
called internet, citizens alienated from thinking on their own and
much less with the ability to express themselves without fear of
retaliation.
This regime is based
on lies, retaliation and manipulation of the information, with the
complicity of international leftists, the are dedicated to uphold
power for a gansteril pack.
What do we want? A state
of Law and a civic society concious of its responsability in the
supervision of the elected people in power to be able to guarantee
their honesty and efficiency, to facilitate the creation of certain
conditions for a fast recuperation of the economy.
What do we propose to
achieve such a society?
To this society in which
individual responsability sholud play a decisive factor, some public
services should be guaranteed, such as education and health, the
education should aim to instruct our youth to contribute to rescue
the once lost ethical and moral values of society, the interest
for our homeland, politics, apart from the teaching of new technology
that could place them to the level of of the times we are living
in. Our Youth will have the right to choose their studies in spite
of their race, sex or political affilliation. This should be guaranteed
as a public service to society. We shall not limit individualities
and creativity. Another important role will be played by religious
entities like The Catholic Church, Protestant Denominations, Brotherhood
organizations such as Masonry, Caballeros de la Luz, Boy Scouts
and others... A special role will be played by the men and women
that will work the means of communications. They have to be objective
and in their hands rests an important part of this rescue.
Public Health will always
offer people great securities, this sector of economy will have
to be updated to the levels of advanced countries. We should focus
on preventive medicine so to avoid extra expenses and be able to
improve the quality of life of our people.
Social Security Assistance
should be implemented efficiently and fast to those who really need
it. There should be a strict procedure to determine those cases
that qualify with no delay.
We consider that in
the aft of the regime the logistic and infrastructure to get the
international help that will arrive to the island must be created,
so that these organizations can carry on with their tasks.
There will be a future
for the working class. Within a judicial environment will be determined
the regulations of labour that will protect them, with the right
to create independent unions. A minimum wage will have to be determined,
and a whole set of guidances and laws will nave to be determined
so that our workers can perform their duties with dignity.
