If It wasn't by Miami.

By Tania Diaz Castro.

Cubanet/Noticuba the International. It was yesterday a certain Fariñas that described to Cuban as Miami like lady's men of white coffee and the legs without importance with a high level of cipayismo in the blood. Another one, of last name Gomez, called vultures of lineage, and to Miami a hallucinating and terrifying city. Even so, the life of these journalists passes there Cuban-Americans without the smaller disturbance. What they never say is that if not was by Miami, hundreds of thousands of families in Cuba would not have breakfast, nor would have lunch, nor they would have supper, because it is of that terrifying city of where the resources from thousand of Cubans surviving come.

This way, between our defeats streets, buildings in ruins and notebooks of supplying, we have to Agnerys Rodriguez, who repeats before one more a table more square than round, that Miami asphyxia, that the terrorist Mafia bites its own tail, in the middle of one deteriorated society. Now, to end, another colleague of the periodic Rebellious Youth says that the thousand rich Cuban-Americans of Miami are rich because they inherited the spirit of the Al Capone and not because they live under an enterprising social system, where the one that makes an effort to the maximum can get to make its dream to have more than others. In order to affirm so questionable hypothesis it has been published book: “Miami, drug trafficking money”, written by Hedelberto journalist Lopez Blanch, who confesses that she had access to newspapers in several libraries of the United States and archives of the cuts civilian and penitentiary of Miami, where he could remain long hours, something that prohibits us to the independent journalists in the Library State national and other dependencies. If the magazine Hispanic Trade U.S. Today affirms that the Cuban Americans have 138 of the 500 bigger Hispanic companies of the United States, I would add that in spite of the prohibitions of the Cuban regime, of which he consumes daily the population of the Island much does not acquire it in the commercial centers of the state, but through clandestine salesmen, who the same sell packages of espaguetis, treats and fresh fish, like vegetables, milk of cow, detergent and until shrimps and lobsters.

Thus he is the Cuban: fighter, entrepreneur. He knows how to flout the economic laws of the socialism, and also knows to break through in one market economy that it does not prohibit to anybody to raise head him. I would like to say to him to the Hedelberto colleague who I have a son in Miami from 1989; that the grass of particular gardens with its hands began with its wife starting. Soon after they were owners of a small company that fixes gardens. I ask myself where they are going to stop these uprisings, the same in the pro-government press that in the small screen; and in addition, in books of short distances, as opposed to hundreds of thousands to Cuban that hope by their migratory proceedings to enjoy the mentioned deteriorated society of Miami, to work there, with that Mafia that opens the arms all the one that it arrives in search of work and prosperity, even, where the doors of the great libraries are opened to all that one that walks in search of data for any work historical. Be enough to say that until the Embassy of Spain it has his interminable daily tail of Cuban to a flank of the building that aspires to a visa, because they prefer to live in the Iberian Peninsula, in spite of the ETA terrorism, that in the Cuban paradise.

Even so, Mr. Lopez Blanch says that he does not leave his surprise when seeing how in so short period of time - nothing less than almost half century the Cubans they could progress economically. It seems that one forgot those Cuban calls worms, originating of Miami, that turned soon after butterflies, visited Cuba loaded of money and gifts for the family, when still nobody called Mafia to the miamense society. Or perhaps it is convinced that an economic development is never obtained after long centuries of socialism and in only 48 years of freedom.
